HOOVER VAC 6

I really enjoyed the new series, The Peripheral, on Prime Video and it’s set in the year 2030. In the home of the main characters is this little hovering bot, which as far as I can tell doesn’t really have anything to do with the story other than it’s from “the future”. It reminded me of my little robot vacuum! As you may have gathered by now, nothing in my office/shop is left alone, everything needs a personality and a character, as all consumer products SHOULD be designed…. ahem…

I had always planned to give my vac a “makeover” and I decided this was the theme for it! The Groove-O-Matic was used heavily in this one. All sheet styrene layered to get the fan grills, 4 layers in all plus the base layers. A few greeblies added (yes there is even a part from my old Volkswagen on it, lol) and some paint and stickers and I have a vacuum from 2030! Don’t go looking for it on Amazon for at least 7 years…
